The Hilltop Cabin Hekla in Reykholt was absolutely amazing! The room had all the creature comforts like a dishwasher, electric kettle, and even a hot tub. It felt like pure luxury, and as an adventure traveler, I couldn't have asked for more.

The only downside for me was the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and high-quality bedding provide all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is the perfect spot to relax and take in the incredible views. The helpful and friendly hosts go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, even helping guests during unexpected snowstorms, making the stay even more special.

The shower glass in the bathroom appeared slightly worn and had some limescale, but it didn't detract from the overall fantastic experience.

We were able to explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy breathtaking views right from our cabin. It was so peaceful, and we only had to share this incredible experience with our own family. The location made it easy to visit famous landmarks like Geysir and the Golden Circle, making our trip even more memorable. Plus, the cabin had all the amenities we needed to feel at home, including a well-stocked kitchen and a relaxing hot tub. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

In my wife's opinion, it would be great to have more space to store our hiking boots. With five pairs of boots, finding a suitable spot was a bit of a challenge.

The moment we walked into this incredible home, we were blown away! The stunning views from every window left us speechless. The cabin itself was cozy and had top-notch facilities. The outdoor hot tub with its sensational view was a major highlight. The central location was perfect for sightseeing and exploring, and the cabin provided the perfect space for relaxation after a day of adventure. The record collection, especially Fleetwood Mac, was a pleasant surprise. We can't wait to return to this amazing place in Iceland!

We had an amazing stay at Hilltop Cabin Hekla - Golden Circle - Geysir - Mountain View. The host provided us with helpful suggestions before we arrived, making our family getaway even more perfect. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The geothermal hot tub was a highlight, especially when we were lucky enough to see the Northern lights at night. The sunrise and sunset views through the cabin's windows were breathtaking.

Although it was a bit difficult to find the cabin in the dark for the first time, our hosts were quick to respond and help us out. We also encountered a small mix-up with the lock box, but it was resolved with the assistance of the responsive hosts.

The area's natural beauty can be seen at Brúarfoss and Secret Lagoon. The stunning views were like stepping into a fairytale. The holiday home offers a range of wellness facilities including a hot spring bath and a hot tub. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking.

Master bed size may be a bit small for taller people.

The cabin had a stunning view and was situated in a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of supplies, and the sound system with a great choice of music added a nice touch.

One minor issue was that the master bed seemed a bit small for taller individuals. there were some minor maintenance issues, such as limescale on the shower glass and a broken sink pipe.

The location was perfect for enjoying hiking adventures in the beautiful surroundings. We loved that we had the whole place to ourselves and could explore the area with our children. It was a great opportunity for family bonding, and we made lasting memories exploring the nearby trails.

For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities available.

The staff was incredibly helpful and even sent us a message to check the sky for the northern lights, which we were lucky enough to see directly from the cabin. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabin was spotlessly clean. The highlight was definitely the geothermally heated hot tub, where we could relax and enjoy the amazing mountain view.

One of the highlights was the great sound installation and collection of LPs with a fantastic choice of music. The location of the cabin was also ideal, allowing us to easily explore the many attractions in the area.
